The universe is really a badass and brings people in and out of your life at the perfect times. When it comes to Andrena and Steve's romance it couldn't have been more perfect! You see Andrena was in a previous relationship that didn't end up working out and after some time of healing her friend Steve entered the picture. They always say friendship is the cornerstone of a romance and many of my couples start this way.

The pandemic came soon thereafter and the chaos of being home 24/7 but this is where their relationship flourished. Nothing like being quarantined together to test out a relationship. They also decided that a remodel was in the cards and their kitchen turned out amazing! I really loved capturing some in home images - it just went really well with all they've been through. Andrena is also the owner of Crazy Confections and been baking for about 10 years. She made this huge cookie with their date on it and we literally forgot to bring it to the park to go with their champagne toast!

Another fun aspect of the shoot was including their adorable pups Ricky & Lucy! I defiantly encourage couples to include their pets and they were so well behaved. Riding back to their home after the snow squall at Stamford Arboretum/Bartlett Park, Ricky climbed right up on my lap to warm up.
