Meet Mariel

This blog is a small representation of my most current sessions, my clients love stories and all the adventures I am privilaged to go on! Ways to my heart include coffee, feeding me before I am "hangry" and anything shabby chic/rustic. My vintage camera collection grows everday and I am usually smiling and quoting random movies. Most importantly Mariel O. Photo celebrates love in all forms regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation & gender identity.

I started this series last year when there were so many high hopes for 2020! For all the time spent in the house during quarantine I did manage to have an eventful year. Just like any January the feeling in the air is of re-birth and feeling fresh. I have so many ideas and want to redo everything in the house that I made Mike a bit nuts with all my research and talking about this or that.

The final month of 2020 and man what a year! I am super proud of blogging all year long and consider #marielmonthly a win! This time has been so tough for many of us but I just can't believe we've made it through! December kept me plenty busy and have tons of images to share....

November 1, 2020

Autumn is in full swing and this month has been packed with weddings and sessions. I have kept working from home and quarantining as best a possible but towards the end of the month was getting itchy. Thankful for a world where there are Octobers.

This month has all been about social distancing, my dogs, a bit of days off and lots of doctor appointments.

August 26, 2020

Hottest month of the year and the hits just kept on coming with a tropical storm to kick us off but by the end it lead to cooler mornings and evenings around the fire!

May is always a busy month full of holidays and birthdays! Even though Covid-19 put a damper on traditional gathering and celebration there was still some form of it taking place. As I reflect on this month I realize how lucky I am. Even though my first wedding was suppose to be on the 14th it means more to me that everyone is safe.

This month has been more of the same being social distant and staying home as much as possible. This month we would have been traveling to Cozumel, Mexico. I was really looking forward to going since Micheal and I have never been. I am hanging onto hope that this will be over fairly soon and we will be able to travel once again.
