Celia & Craig | A Haley Mansion Elopement

Midweek Elopement at Haley Mansion

There are so many times I have been to Haley Mansion and one of the firsts was a styled shoot in I think 2018. The elegance of a mansion overlooking Mystic is very New England. There is nothing I like more than a welcomed break from my full time work in college administration. When I got this inquiry for a Wednesday it was an immediate yes!

Celia and Craig went to the same high school but never really connected and then life as it does took them different ways. Celia was a vision of Hollywood glam and elegance and I adored the soft pink romance of the bouquet and the cape/veil! There are intimate elopements but then there was this one -the only people there were the officiant and myself. It was so perfect and even more meaningful getting to witness. We had so much time to bounce around the grounds and take stunning yet relaxed portraits and not a rush before all the reception festivities.

They did the day their way with some private vows and first looks. They danced to a Dave Matthews song off their phone, enjoying their carrot cake and champagne. As I wrapped up coverage the staff set up some chairs for an impromptu sweetheart table and showered them with leftover florals from the weekend'd previous wedding.

Such a joyful afternoon! Thank you for having me and a flood of congratulations to the newlyweds!
