Kate & Sean | A Coastal New England Wedding

A New England Coastal Wedding
Gloucester, MA

I was greeted at the door of the groom's home for getting ready and I immediately felt included and had a great feeling the day would be amazing. Kate's mother welcomed me and I got all set up for photographing the details. The Irish details in the rings, the dapper green suit and the blues all worked together. This couple was a referral from a 2024 couple and it was an honor to have legacy clients. Kate wasn't so precious about the dress saying she hacked off the train so she could dance and twirl to her heart's delight (& mine as well). The first look with Dad proved the dress had the twirl factor for sure.

Kate and Sean met during the crazy 2020 pandemic while rock climbing. It's not easy to meet someone and connect when your face is half covered but their love really blossomed with plenty of outdoor activities with their pup, June.

The historic church ceremony took place where Paul Revere famously rang the bell was one of the most special details - hands down the most unique and the vows were just as heartfelt. Kate had listed her ideals in a partner and I remember doing the same thing with my husband. A little manifestation really works wonders. There was so much laughter in them too with Sean mentioning the Patriots (c'mon we were in Massachusetts after all). There was also a great group of UConn alum with brought the energy to the reception. The toasts brought the laughter and sentiment which is exactly the goal.

Sean swept Kate off her feet on multiple trips around the dance floor and the portraits on the rocks in front of the Atlantic room was a dream location. Please enjoy my favorites. Congratulations to these sweethearts on their marriage!

All smiles,

Mariel
