Mariel Monthly | November 2021

November 30, 2021

Definitely my favorite month of all! Started by celebrating my 38th year with breakfast out with Michael and dinner with friends. I did write a sappy Instagram post on how grateful I am for time and healing. It has been a whirlwind of a year since my 37th birthday and so happy to have this healthy pregnancy! We went out with friends to Sicily which I have mentioned before...but that cake was with price of admission!

There was a lot of good food eaten this month - I finally got to have a visit with my bestie Heather that lives on Long Island. It has been a year or more since we have seen each other and both pregnant with girls! Raising the next generation of best friends! We met up at Bar Taco - the weather was great to sit by the water and chit chat then we took some selfies of course! Friendsgiving was also a great time since it was the last time to see everyone before the baby.

I also took the time to get my hair cut and baylage by my favorite, Hair by Jessie Ryan! It is truly a miracle what an afternoon of pampering can do! Also continued my walks about the neighborhood to enjoy the colors, the weather and to keep active for baby girl.

Thanksgiving was spent home with my sister's family and sister-in-law and it was so nice. I felt a bit bad hosting and not really cooking but everyone understood me being so pregnant. I ate and ate til I couldn't anymore. We had a great time and watched Home Alone & Home Alone 2 after dinner because it was now allowed to usher in the holiday season. Our home was also decorated for Christmas the day after!

We did welcome Aubrey on the second to last day of this month, November 29th and I will definitely write up another post about the birth
