Mariel Monthly | September

September 30, 2020

This month has all been about social distancing, my dogs, a bit of days off and lots of doctor appointments. I know I have neglected this blog just a bit but when you've rarely seen friends or family and work from home there hasn't been much activity. I did take some days off and Michael took a staycation around Labor Day.

Some time I did enjoy by myself was a drive to Guilford. I photographed at a church many years ago right on the town green. The day couldn't have been more perfect or relaxing! I stopped and stocked up on some juice's I kept hearing about - Drink Moon Shots! Gosh it didn't disappoint & I am going to have to go back for the avocado toast!

I got my hair done by the fabulous Hair by Jesse Ryan at her new salon space in Tolland. We connect at our local chapter of Rising Tide Society Tuesdays Together and its safe to say I finally found someone who is passionate and kind and does wonder for my hair. I have been going to her exclusively for years!

Went on some neighborhood strolls and collected some great late fall décor which was free! I love being outside and noticing all the little beauty around. Michael and I both had to get tested for Covid (not because we had it but for our IVF) and it was a really easy process. I just was instructed to swab each nostril but it in the container and drove off.

Hair by Jesse Ryan made me feel like a new woman!

Drive up Covid testing

This blog is a small representation of my most current sessions, my clients love stories and all the adventures I am privilaged to go on! Ways to my heart include coffee, feeding me before I am "hangry" and anything shabby chic/rustic. My vintage camera collection grows everday and I am usually smiling and quoting random movies. Most importantly Mariel O. Photo celebrates love in all forms regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation & gender identity.
