Hampton, Connecticut
There’s something magical about late fall in Connecticut — the crisp air, the golden light, and the last fiery leaves clinging to the trees. That magic came to life on a perfect October day - the last of my 2025 season! This is the first time you are seeing Amanda and Ryan because we never managed to take engagement photos but not to worry because their portraits were effortless. There were so many clean details from the groom's cufflinks, the green, white, eucalyptus color scheme, and the stunning classic car (which was the couple arrived to the reception in (!) Everything was easy to photograph and put together.
The wind was biting at times, but dry so the ceremony took place outside with views of the little river. The personal vows touched me of how they met, how after a trip with friends early on in the relationship, Amanda knew that Ryan was going to be her husband, how Ryan was so taken by Amanda's beauty and warmth and the family surrounding them.
It was great to have free reign of the property with the stonework of the mansion versus the rustic vibes of the reception barn. We had to fit two big Italian families iso they could party and they sure did! The late night pizza truck was a great addition and guests could have a slice in between the photo booth and dancing.
Could this be too many favorites?! Quite possibly but I am sure I won't get any complaints. DeLands please enjoy your amazing Caribbean cruise and being newly wed! Hope to see you again!
All smiles,
Mariel
