Pretty sure every photographer says that they have the best clients but truly how did I get so lucky to get hired by this international couple who just are so sweet!?! Arianna and Stephen are goals plain and simple. With all that Covid threw at them they manage to host one amazing wedding day. Arriving at Heritage Hotel nestled in a adorable village in Southbury was so warm and inviting. The garden everywhere and vineyard - it really didn't feel like a typical hotel.

The colors were bright and bold just like these two. I love the story Arianna was telling me about when she travelled abroad to England and all her friends joked that "she would find her prince," well she did meet him in Stephen but here at home. It is so small of a world, truly. It took oceans to get some of Stephen's family here because there are still some travel bans in effect. His parents had to go to Bermuda and stay for 2 weeks before arriving in the States (I know real tough huh?) but they made it as well as his sister and 1 of 2 brothers. Instead of a first look they had a first touch where they could still hear and talk to each other before the aisle. I really loved just sitting back and seeing them interact. Stephen was going over the first dance instructions to be sure he was on point.

Stephen teaches football (soccer) to kids and Arianna does in the classroom and I find these professions so perfect for their personalities. The display table of love advice for the kids was so fun to read.

The venue was a new one for me to shoot at and it was stunning! The garden ceremony was really easy to shoot than I thought and the winery for portraits was so full of glow it was just steps away from cocktail hour. I also love the main room and the rustic feel - it was a pleasure and hope I can shoot there again!

This couple is jetting off to their Jamaican honeymoon and I wish them all the best in their new lives as husband and wife!
