End of Year Review | 2020

January 6, 2021

Every year I enjoy going through my images and taking out the best of the best and highlighting them. Typically I have enough of portraits and weddings to make two different posts but not for 2020! Weddings got postponed or done on a much smaller scale but I am so happy of all of these images. Before the shutdown happened I did manage to shoot two lovely sessions, one engagement and one anniversary. The anniversary shoot was part of a giveaway for Valentine's Day just for my couples and my very first Mr. & Mrs. won! Aspen and Michael just conveniently had a gala the night before and decided to dress up again which just MADE the shoot uber-glam!

Second shooting went well this year as well with my friend Courtney with some crazy circumstances for her couples! There were some styled shoots I also got to be apart of before things went crazy. I also managed to pick up some smaller celebrations which made me feel lucky and extra joyful that love will prevail no matter what. Another big thing for my business this year was outsourcing some weddings to a private editor. Doing this took some much needed things off my plate since being a business owner has been rough especially balancing personal responsibilities.

2021 is still going to have some struggles with this virus but I cannot be more excited to celebrate bigger & better with all my couples!

All smiles,

Mariel

More About Mariel

This blog is a small representation of my most current sessions, my clients love stories and all the adventures I am privilaged to go on! Ways to my heart include coffee, feeding me before I am "hangry" and anything shabby chic/rustic. My vintage camera collection grows everday and I am usually smiling and quoting random movies. Most importantly Mariel O. Photo celebrates love in all forms regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation & gender identity.
