When your best friend gets engaged you take her pictures and when she has her first baby you take pictures! I was super excited to get to meet baby Cobbe.

Heather and Mike chose not to know the gender which not many people do now a days. From the moment she texted me the ultrasound photo I guessed a boy which I had a 50/50 shot at!

Once his arrival came we set a date 2 weeks later to meet. My husband Mike and I drove into Astoria for the day and its was great to visit. We never get to see the city together or see Heather & Mike during the holidays (they are usually in the Florida Keys!). Cobbe slept when we should've been photographing and was awake most of the session time.

Thanks to great-aunt Laura who knitted a hat, mitten and booties for him to wear.

It was a pleasure to see this little person and I can't wait to watch him grow & photograph him more. Enjoy this best present ever and little Santa baby!
