Lodge at Maneely's | The Sargis'

July 21, 2019

Super happy to have the chance to go back to the Lodge at Maneely's in South Windsor, Connecticut. The laid back nature of Sam and Chris are what they loved most about the lodge and the day reflected the fun and relaxing atmosphere. Getting these two back in front of my camera was something special and felt like forever since their engagement session at Wadsworth Mansion last summer. When I arrived for getting ready everyone was pretty much all ready to go. Not one person was rushed it was a calm atmosphere. The bride's daughter picked some flowers which was darling.

The bride's godmother performed the ceremony and you felt the love and warmth surrounding their marriage. There was a special rose exchange and sand ceremony joining the family together as one which I always enjoy seeing. The videography team were a husband and wife that knew the couple and did an amazing job -- scroll to the bottom to see the teaser cut.

Sam was a real trooper since two weeks prior she fractured her foot at her bachelorette party! I loved that her girls bedazzled her boot and DJ Justin played "Boot Scootin' Boogie" it was such fun & Sam went with the flow which speaks volume to how free-spirited and relaxed she is. Some brides would've freaked out!

There was so much happiness throughout the day and I was so privileged to celebrate with their families & consider these two new friends. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Sargis!!

All smiles,

Mariel
