Something new and different from me was shooting this session in the famous Two Roads Brewery in Stratford, Connecticut. Leading up to this shoot I was texting with Arianna and even though she was nervous excited her groom Stephen, was just mostly nervous. I get that a lot from couples prior to their shoots. When are you ever in front of the camera in this intimate way? I tell you everything you need to know so you can concentrate on hanging out with your favorite person.

I always encourage engagement sessions take place in a place that is meaningful to the couple and these two picked their first date spot. Arianna did all the leg work in contacting the event manager to make sure it was OK that we come. Luckily it was and it was so fun to have the place to ourselves. We got to be near the barrels, the growler room and the bar!

Arianna and Stephen met online 1.5 years ago and Stephen proposed in London last time they visited. The bride studied abroad there and she told me how great of city it is an trust me it's on my bucket list. I did a bad accent saying "Peeky Blinders" over and over when Stephen wore his hat (another show that's on list to watch).

I had such a great time and so excited for their Heritage Hotel wedding next summer!
