Meet Mariel

This blog is a small representation of my most current sessions, my clients love stories and all the adventures I am privilaged to go on! Ways to my heart include coffee, feeding me before I am "hangry" and anything shabby chic/rustic. My vintage camera collection grows everday and I am usually smiling and quoting random movies. Most importantly Mariel O. Photo celebrates love in all forms regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation & gender identity.

he lucky couple that won my Valentine's Day giveaway session was Amylia and Rob who are my October couple getting married in Massachusetts. They were referred by my friend Courtney and already had their engagement session with her. I was sad that I wouldn't get to see or photograph them until then because I could tell from our Zoom consult that they were so fun. It must've been fate!

When your bride texts you about switching locations of the session a few days prior you let her know you are on board, especially if it's at one of your favorite Connecticut parks! If you know me you know Elizabeth Park is where it's at with so many options for all types of sessions. It's where I got married and had my own engagement session

I remember passing through Collinsville one time a long time ago when I was working for Teddy Bear Portraits and thinking how friggin' awesome and industrial it was and how I had to do a session here. It took some years later but finally got the chance. Jillian and Tim just moved there recently and decided that this was the perfect location for their engagement shoot.
