Meet Mariel

This blog is a small representation of my most current sessions, my clients love stories and all the adventures I am privilaged to go on! Ways to my heart include coffee, feeding me before I am "hangry" and anything shabby chic/rustic. My vintage camera collection grows everday and I am usually smiling and quoting random movies. Most importantly Mariel O. Photo celebrates love in all forms regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation & gender identity.

Time for reflection on all the greatness and love that was 2024! Every year its so fun to look back at all the smiles I captured this year. By the numbers I photographed 5 MOP couples, was an associate on 6 other weddings with my photographer friends, attended a handful of networking/content days, few more nonwedding related sessions, countless miles & smiles and over 5,300 images! Wow!

When my coverage wrapped up for the day, I thought, "Wow, I’ve been grinning like a dang fool!" Hanging out with Becca and JD on their big day was beyond fantastic! I know I rave about the lighting often, but it was the perfect overcast sky—like nature’s soft filter

The wind made for some perfect veil toss photos and the bright and bold terracotta color scheme is now my ultimate favorite for fall.

Really enjoy getting to a wedding day and having my couples feel like friends to me. These two are just warm and genuine and capturing this day was very laid back and full of family
