Gosh it's the hottest month of the year is seems and I have managed to keep blogging with all the curve balls 2020 has thrown. We are into the end of July and I am not sure how it happened!!

I decided to highlight some of my favorite Connecticut venues that I've worked at over the years. Up first is rustic charm of The Lodge at Maneely's.

What is flat lay fun mean? If you aren't a photographer that must be your first thought. Well this is when I lay out all the pretty details that you've carefully chosen for your wedding day. There are shoes, perfume, watches, invitation suites, heirloom jewelry, the list goes on and on!

One of my favorite parts of the ceremony is the vows. To be honest the ceremony is the start of the marriage and hearing the words that are exchanged really gets me in my feels.

This wedding is my first for 2020! I can't believe we are in June and I am saying that but we all know that this virus had put a damper on celebrations and gatherings this year. I want to commend my couples for being just the most chill people and handling the change in plans with grace. I can't say I would be this way if it were me!

Hey everyone I wanted to take a moment and write about some changes in my business. Since establishing in 2016, I have been consistently and sometimes not as consistently been growing. I get it that progress takes time. I guess I didn't know where photography would take me all the places it has and meeting all the people I have.

Digital Media is always changing so printing your memories is becoming more important than ever. Remember when something on a CD was the best way to have your images?! When you are a Mariel O. couple I now offer prints, canvases and albums to create your first family heirloom. Something to show your future children or thank your parents for one of the best days.

May is always a busy month full of holidays and birthdays! Even though Covid-19 put a damper on traditional gathering and celebration there was still some form of it taking place. As I reflect on this month I realize how lucky I am. Even though my first wedding was suppose to be on the 14th it means more to me that everyone is safe.
