This month has all been about social distancing, my dogs, a bit of days off and lots of doctor appointments.

Another Covid couple couldn't keep them from getting married and starting their forever together. There were many changes prior to this day from venues to amount of coverage but the day turned out just as they hoped. My regular second shooter and friend, Courtney did a great job capturing these for me on my behalf.

Can this year get any harder when it comes to wedding planning?! When there is a tropical storm 5 days before your day when most of the state doesn't have power could't throw these two from making it official!

Hottest month of the year and the hits just kept on coming with a tropical storm to kick us off but by the end it lead to cooler mornings and evenings around the fire!

What is flat lay fun mean? If you aren't a photographer that must be your first thought. Well this is when I lay out all the pretty details that you've carefully chosen for your wedding day. There are shoes, perfume, watches, invitation suites, heirloom jewelry, the list goes on and on!

One of my favorite parts of the ceremony is the vows. To be honest the ceremony is the start of the marriage and hearing the words that are exchanged really gets me in my feels.

This wedding is my first for 2020! I can't believe we are in June and I am saying that but we all know that this virus had put a damper on celebrations and gatherings this year. I want to commend my couples for being just the most chill people and handling the change in plans with grace. I can't say I would be this way if it were me!

May is always a busy month full of holidays and birthdays! Even though Covid-19 put a damper on traditional gathering and celebration there was still some form of it taking place. As I reflect on this month I realize how lucky I am. Even though my first wedding was suppose to be on the 14th it means more to me that everyone is safe.

Don't let your memories die in a digital wasteland of your phone's camera roll and your computer's hard drive. Let them live in prints! All my client's images are put in an online gallery connected to store with a professional lab where you can purchase prints and products like canvases.

I was really looking forward to going since Micheal and I have never been. I am hanging onto hope that this will be over fairly soon and we will be able to travel once again.

March has been absolutely wild and you know what I am going to talk about - COVID19 aka the Corona virus has really made an impact worldwide. Surprisingly only two of my weddings have been postponed but I am lucky it all worked out. I still remain as positive as ever and don't let too much bother me.

Hey everyone I wanted to take a moment and write about some changes in my business. Since establishing in 2016, I have been consistently and sometimes not as consistently been growing. I get it that progress takes time. I guess I didn't know where photography would take me all the places it has and meeting all the people I have.

I remember passing through Collinsville one time a long time ago when I was working for Teddy Bear Portraits and thinking how friggin' awesome and industrial it was and how I had to do a session here. It took some years later but finally got the chance. Jillian and Tim just moved there recently and decided that this was the perfect location for their engagement shoot.

Dying to get out and shoot since winter months are so slow in Connecticut, I decided to run a Valentine's day couple shoot giveaway! It's the first time doing something like this so I wasn't sure anyone would want a mini shoot especially since men aren't so agreeable for photos. Lucky enough there was a positive response and one of my past couple won!

It is such a perk to living in a town that has the history of Wadsworth Mansion at my doorstep. Driving up the tree lined driveway and seeing the pillars always is such a stunning view. Something about beautiful bouquets and eating delicious desserts make Valentine's Day spectacular! I used to be one of those girls that hated this holiday but now I am all about the love (hello I'm a wedding photographer!!)
